Coming Soon: my.esoTalk

Since it's summer, I've had more time to really get into the programming of my.esoTalk.  Over the past few days I've done some real work with the system and it's coming along nicely.  I can even provide some screenshots for you at this point.

my.esoTalk is a free forum hosting service, giving anyone and everyone the chance to own their own esoTalk powered forum.  The idea is to have multiple servers distribute the load of forums.  At this point, there is currently 1 server and a dev server (which I didn't actually start out using...)

So far I have the signup system 99% working.  I still need to implement custom forum logos, but other than that it's finished.  But work still needs to be done on things like administration tools and plugins for the forums.  Right now the captcha plugin doesn't want to work, I'm assuming it's a cookie/session setting issue.  The administration tools need to be written so my staff and I can moderate accounts and assist anyone having trouble.

The forums are running a modified version of esoTalk.  This custom mod lets the server have 1 install of esoTalk serve every forum, saving disk/database space as well as make it (somewhat) manageable to upgrade to newer versions of esoTalk.

Again, there's still a lot of work to do before this can launch to the public.  Beta 1 of esoTalk is supposed to be released on June 28th, so I'm estimating that by the end of June or early July my.esoTalk will be available to everyone.

Haha yeah. And I'm thinking about releasing the code behind it once it's complete, under the GPL v2 license.
